After helping to publicly launch an immersive VR technology, Icarus "Icky" Somers is enjoying the spoils of being a rising tech icon. Most kids would be happy with the praise and attention, but not Icky. He has bigger plans. Using powerful AI helpers, Icky has developed his next big idea. He calls it Canvas - a virtual world building program which allows the user to be anyone, do anything, live anywhere - all from their imagination.

Technology so powerful proves hard to control as the lines between reality and virtual reality are blurred, and not just for Icky and his friends.

He just wanted to build the perfect virtual world, not end the real one.
