A Hard Desert Rain

Experience combat through the eyes of a new Christian as he moves from life on a safe college campus to the muddy fields and mountains of Afghanistan. In a pursuit to leave his past behind and follow Jesus, Xavier enlists in the Marine Corps at the age of eighteen. After being trained as an ordinary truck driver, he is chosen to become a Designated Marksman on a dangerous mission to Helmand Province, Afghanistan. As fellow Marines and Afghans lose their lives in the fighting, Xavier is forced to decide between faith and fear, good and evil, while losing nearly everything in the process.
