A new world has been discovered across the sea, filled with wonders that spark the imagination of many explorers. But after several generations of settlers, much of that passion has vanished.

As if to make up for lost time, the obsession for discovery and conquest has laid a heavy mantle upon Claudius, a drunkard dock worker with few friends to name. However, the esoteric and dark realities he discovers in his travels will change his home island of Eldoria forever and will permanently stain his relationship with his two closest friends, Eleanora and Roland.

In this tragic tale, Claudius grapples with the responsibility of leadership and comes to understand the effects of greed and wealth as it relates to personal fulfillment. In a world of choices, it is left to the least competent man-Claudius-to call the shots that will steer the life of his friends and those unfortunate enough to live after the wake of his discovery.
