About the Author
My grandfather, James W. Johnston, Sr., lovingly known as "Gramps", wrote this story as a sermon many years ago for a small Methodist church in South Carolina. It was a story he was known for all his life. Now, the story is available for all to read in the form of a children's book. I honor my grandfather's memory in adapting, editing and illustrating this story to continue his legacy.
