While patrolling the infamous Cerberus sector, the crew of a galactic frigate reels in an unusual catch: a derelict and abandoned spacecraft. Ensign Bear Andersen immediately recognizes the ship as having once belonged to Captain Ashmi, her friend and comrade. But where is Ashmi? Determined to find out, Bear steals aboard the ship.
