The Son of Shin'ar

Naholis is haunted with nightmares of the malicious ambitions of an entity from the mysterious celestial race called the Anzumaru, who vies for the reality-bending power that her tribe has dominion over. She and her people swiftly work to prepare the allied kingdoms to combat the coming threat, pulling a novice soldier named Axiroas into an inevitable confrontation with the elusive foe.

Arriving from the cosmic world of Shin'ar, The Anzumaru-known as Belnuru-looks upon the humans he is tasked to serve with scorn, driving him deeper into insanity as he plots dark designs for the mortal world. Believing himself to be the only hope for his fellow Anzumaru, he goes against his kinsmen to earn the favor of their god. Belnuru ensnares Exanima-an eternal guardian of humanity-under his control, aiding in spreading the corrupting seed of his influence.

As Naholis finds herself pursued by Belnuru for her abilities, Axiroas must abandon his fears and overcome his shortcomings as a warrior to stand with her against the terrifying Son of Shin'ar
