The Mirror and the Prism is a historical adventure Christian fantasy series written for young adults and adults. It is based on the premise that God's creation is even more wonderous and complex than we know. Those with the ability to reflect and refract creation's primal light can see and enter all of it.
The first book, Silhouette, takes place in 1918 during World War I in Devon, England. Gwendolyn Maham was shattered in 1916 when her eldest brother was killed in the titanic battle of the Somme. As a child, she had prophetic dreams, but after Freddie's death, she wanted nothing more to do with God and performed a dark rite in a futile attempt to change her brother's fate. Two years have passed. Now God has a job for Gwen and is calling her back into the relationship she renounced. She and her companions must decipher a cryptic vision, recover a lost weapon, and fight very real demons. The course of World War I is at stake.
