When pinecones begin falling from the sky, a little squirrel awakens into a dream unlike any other. Worried about her younger brother, she sets off through a forest where pinecones become raindrops, and rain turns to flooding. With heart and bravery, she searches for him across shifting landscapes, determined to bring him safely home.

But just as they near the safety in the top of their tree, a wave splashes her from the trunk of the tree far down to the ground.

Suddenly awake on her bedroom floor, the little squirrel realizes it was all just a dream. As she climbs back into bed, her brother sound asleep nearby, she feels the comfort of knowing she is safe, loved, and never truly alone.
