My name is Jordie, and I am a Finder. It is my job to match the best human pet with its new owner. I work hard to make sure the human pets and their owners are happy together.

But this story isn't about me. This is Marco's tale.

Marco

I was named after the famous explorer Marco Polo. My grandfather wanted me to leave the island, explore the world, and have grand adventures. But that's not what I wanted; I wanted to live a quiet and peaceful life on my island.

But then Grandfather passed away, and Jordie took me to live on another planet...as a pet!

Now, here I am, eleven years old and living on a planet in a different galaxy. The alien guy I'm living with, Jutte, is pretty cool. But a sea dragon tries to eat me, and another alien wants to kill me.
