When the bodies of a UCSF professor and a San Francisco Ballet prima ballerina are found murdered in the Sierra Nevada mountains inside a grandiose motor home littered with gold mining equipment, maps of buried treasure, and Civil War artifacts, SFPD Homicide Detective Trophy Jones, jumps at the chance to take the case.
