Wild Fading Laughter

Victor Carroll is not a good person-but he wants to be. In trouble with the mob-he flees the city for his suburban hometown. Helped by his estranged brother-he escapes with his life-and takes refuge in rural South Africa. There he befriends a young orphan boy named Themba. The two become fast friends. But danger still looms. Victor risks his life to protect Themba from the greatest evil they have ever known.
