More Than A Walk: The Journal of a 16-Year-Old Hiker on the Appalachian Trail

From getting lost in a Pennsylvania cornfield to summiting the highest peak on the East Coast in a torrential downpour, the Appalachian Trail can certainly be exciting… and sometimes dangerous! Beautiful vistas and miles of untouched woods grace the East Coast landscape. In a lot of ways, though, those spectacular sights are of the least memorable parts of the trail. The hosts of kind, unforgettable, and humorous people are really what stands out.

Timothy, a 16-year-old boy, sets off on the adventure of his life when his 21-year-old sister needs a companion with which to hike the Trail.
