Heartfelt Snippets with Moments of Magic

This manuscript contains original poetry written from the heart based on life experiences: love, joy, loss, sorrow and humor abound, with a little whimsy thrown in for good measure. I try to paint pictures with my words, inspired by the world around me, and have used writing to cathartic effect in working through personal challenges. It is my greatest joy to share my thoughts and feelings. I hope to make you smile and laugh; inspire you to think; and maybe - just maybe - elicit some strong emotions. Language and the use of words fascinate me. Poetry combines the use of words with musical components that contain a meaning, overt or mystically hidden by the author, to be discovered, interpreted and enjoyed by each reader. I love hearing the thoughts of others, allowing me to review my writing from different perspectives.
