My name is Chloe Blackthorn and I am, or was, a thief and a hustler. I grew up in South Point at the edge of civilized lands. Beyond, in the frozen wilderness to the south, live the barbarians known as LeatherWing. They are said to be savage, brutal, incapable of reason, and responsible for the fall of the Unstoman Empire. All my life I was told they were the demons they resembled, and I had no reason to question it.

That is, until the night I lay dying in an alley, forgotten, and one of them saved me.

Now I find myself in a world not my own, living a life I'd given up on. I owe Alabaster a debt; a debt symbolized by the strip of leather now around my neck. With Alabaster's group of friends we will travel to Cliffport to become adventurers ...
