Twisting Trails and Wondrous Worlds

In book two of the Arcania series, Shel joins Izzy, the eccentric elephant, on his mission to track down the dangerous Gambrine crocodile and recover the missing dentist. To do that, however, they must first find Ingonyama, the famous hunter. Unfortunately, Ingonyama has also disappeared and only the silly Peanut Butter King knows where to find him. Trouble is, the king lives in the Land of Happy, far beyond the magical Champion Valley where monsters play, across the Champion Sea where storm dragons reign, and on the other side of the formidable Sonrisa Desert where the temperamental giants are sleeping. The journey is not easy, especially with Shel battling both adversaries and the urge to return home. Will the mission turn out to be too dangerous or will he decide that the promise of adventure is worth the risk? Will he drown in the storm of life as he confronts his future? Or will he decide to embrace his destiny, and in the process, discover life on his own terms? It's a fool's errand and the odds are against them. Fortunately, the crazy elephant has a plan!
