Desires

Desires: Characteristics of True Conversion is a small book which invites the reader to explore and identify the cause, method, and effects of true conversion at a personal level. This is not a book about doing good works. Rather, this book is about the reality of the supernatural desires deep within our conscience which precede our good works. One of the difficulties in identifying true conversion is that the proof of true conversion is not always determined by our successes in obeying Christ-although such successes are important-but rather by the supernatural desires that precede our obedience to Christ. The Holy Bible clearly identifies the effects of true conversion as a spiritual turning away from sin and rebellion through repentance while simultaneously turning toward Jesus Christ for salvation. We will explore the cause, method, and effects of true conversion so that you can personally validate your conversion as being authentic. Your guide to validation will be three essential and universal effects which are identified in this book as the Essential Universal Characteristics or EUCs. A truly converted believer will supernaturally exhibit these three EUCs, but a false conversion will not! I want you to honestly ask yourself three questions: 1. Do I have a desire to read The Holy Bible daily? 2. Do I have a desire to pray to God daily? and 3. Do I have a desire to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ regularly?
