Sent: Becoming a Living Letter is the third book in The Joy of Christian Discipleship Series developed by Dr. Morehouse and his experienced team and the third study guide in their three-part Celebrate Salvation group discipleship study Course 1. Each of the of three course workbooks covers a Stage in the discipleship of a committed Christian believer, starting with 3 steps of conversion to faith in the first book. The next book in the course leads participants in a thorough personal analysis and process of growth in discernment and maturity, followed by this book, Sent, which wraps up Course 1 with a significant study of how to approach carrying out the Great Commission. Each of the workbooks in this Updated Edition comes complete with all associated Handouts and is designed to provide guidance for small discipleship groups of 2-12 members (ideal 3-8 committed). Each guide is divided into twelve weekly 3-page studies containing four studies on each of the three steps in the first two books and four studies on each of the three ways of carrying out the Great Commission - in Word, Deed, and Power - in this, the third. A dedicated group can expect to complete each workbook together in about 12 weekly sessions over a 3-month period with breaks for holidays. New small groups may gather and start at any time with leaders who have already gone through this or similar material themselves.
