An ancient and precious artifact has passed through three consecutive generations, continually eluding all attempts to acquire it. Throughout its journey, it has been regularly linked to disasters and deaths. After suffering a leg injury, Raghavan departs from the military and goes back to his hometown, Athimedu, a spiritually tinted residential area on a tea estate. Over the next fifteen years, the dangerous circumstances he encounters transform his secluded life into one filled with intrigue, excitement, and importance. During his retirement, he is dedicated to stopping a needy child named Poonkuzhali from being compelled to work in a tea factory, opting to educate her so she can become an I.A.S. officer. Yet, Raghavan's association with a grotesque old man named Malaimayan, who is close to a hundred-year-old and lives in the same area, subjects him to several difficulties and remarkable encounters. During this, he also finds a tender love. After finally achieving his goal despite numerous obstacles, Raghavan is left alone with his crutch as those nearby leave. Who remains with him? What happened to the ancient artifact?
