Solitude and Freedom

This is a story that spans the United States and China, depicting the rise and fall of two generations and their search for meaning. Levi and Anna meet and grow close in New York, but are separated by a sudden pandemic. In the post-pandemic world, conflicts between family and self, reality and obsession, intertwine, and only when the survivors look back do they realize that life has already been reshaped. Years later, when the pandemic returns, Levi and Anna meet again in Beijing, and similar misfortune again draws them together. Time blurs, as if people are given another chance to choose. However, when the fate that mirrors the previous generation is revealed in the future, the family genes have already flowed through the blood of the next.
