Dracula is a Gothic horror novel that follows the battle between a group of determined individuals and the ancient vampire Count Dracula. After young solicitor Jonathan Harker becomes trapped in Dracula's Transylvanian castle, the Count travels to England to spread his undead curse. Jonathan, his fiancee Mina, and their friends-including Dr. Seward and the wise Professor Van Helsing-join forces to stop Dracula as he preys on innocents like Lucy Westenra. The group eventually tracks him back to Transylvania, where they destroy him to end his reign of terror.
