Written by Melody Paul, this fictional story is about a young native American boy named hunter and the new fur friend he discovered one day during his chore time named buster a morkie. Native American folklore believed in little beings that we can call little fairies. It was said that these little fairies would help the natives hunt, fish, plant and find safe spots in the cold winter months, this is how they survived for hundreds of years.

When hunter finds buster hiding, he soon discovers that buster can only understand hunters' native language. Spoken to him regularly by his elders at home. hunter doesn't understand it at first, after he is told some of the stories about the little fairies, it soon opens his mind and heart.

The family they all discover that buster is unconditional love and this brings the family closer together.
