In Overdose or Murder, a seasoned spy, just retired, is pulled back into the game. His former boss needs a favor off the books; it seems like his ex-wife's husband committed suicide, and he wants it looked into. As he looks into it, more questions arise: who will gain from the death? What kind of shady business was he running? Who was his ex-wife?
The following: Dr. Marrow, our Agent, was dragged into a cast of disposable misfits; they all have secrets that the government would rather see buried. The man in charge of a secret government lab turned into a mad scientist, and his job was to create A I robotic warriors; he went a bit overboard, gene-splicing some animals that got loose and creating a monster, and not just the one in the lake.
He is a retired factory worker, a man of unwavering dedication who has put in 40+ years. Even on weekends, he rose at 3:00 am for work, always mindful to keep his activities quiet to let his wife sleep. He keeps himself occupied with a variety of hobbies: gardening, an annual major vacation, some fishing, volunteering, and wood working, but none as costly as his writing.
