They face all the usual problems of a trail drive-too many miles, too many rivers to cross-as Indian has people trying to kill him for avenging their brother's death.
Indian and Serene find themselves falling in love during the trip, while a neighboring rancher, Kent Eagle, is determined to do whatever he can to take over Serene's ranch.
Indian's problems grow with every mile: getting the cattle to market, staying alive while people are trying to kill him, selling the herd, paying off the bank loan, and keeping Serene.
CLARK SELBY was born in 1936 in Miami, Oklahoma. Clark spent almost fifty years in the parking industry as a Parking Operations Manager, Consultant, and Corporate Executive, traveling internationally for over thirty years and working in more than sixty countries on six continents.
He began writing novels after becoming a full-time caregiver for his wife, Patricia, after she became paralyzed, and he continued to care for her until she passed away. He used his knowledge of the many locations he worked in as settings for his novels.
Clark found that he loved writing novels and hoped he could always tell a good story for his readers. Clark's books Together Forever, The Power of Love, Indian Leader Trail Boss, and Where's My Wife? have been awarded Gold Seals as Book Excellence Award Winners after a review by The US Review of Books.
He and his wife, Karen Serene Selby, live in Springfield, Missouri.
