Stand Your Ground: One Man's Self-Defense Nightmare by Barry D. Todd

In 2014 Barry D. Todd's world was shattered when an act of self-defense led to charges of attempted murder and aggravated assault. Attacked outside an Arizona restaurant, he fired his weapon to protect himself-only to find himself incarcerated without proper evidence or due process. Thrust into a daunting legal battle, Barry D. Todd faced the complexities of a criminal justice system that seemed stacked against him.

This powerful account delves into the flaws of a system that can fail the wrongly accused. As Barry D. Todd and his attorneys tirelessly gathered evidence and endured multiple grand jury hearings, his story highlights the immense challenges faced in the quest for justice. Through resilience and unwavering determination, Barry D. Todd's journey offers a profound insight into the system's inner workings and the toll it takes on those entangled within it. A thought-provoking narrative, this book sheds light on critical issues in our society and celebrates the unyielding human spirit in the face of adversity.
