The games described in "Tiling Games (II)" represent a continuation of those included in "Tiling Games". e gameboards consist of sections of various tilings of the plane. Each gameboard is accompanied by discs numbered in the range {0, ..., 9}. e discs are placed on vertices of the gameboard in an attempt to complete various scoring con gurations. Scoring con gurations include the basic tiles as well as certain combinations of tiles which are determined in accordance with the theory of nilpotent polygons. Each Chapter concludes with exercises which can be solved using basic algebra.
The gameboards can be constructed using mat-board, a ruler, straight-edge and protractor, pencils and colored pens. Circular discs and number stick-ons can be found in a hobby store. To play the games only some mental arithmetic and geometric recognition is required.
