Classical and English Literary Criticism texts are prescribed for the students of literature by almost all the universities in the UG & PG courses in India and abroad. In India, UGC has recommended literary criticism in its Choice Basic Credit System (CBCS) for the students of higher education in their Graduation and Post-graduation programs.
