G. Larry Butler was presented with a prestigious award for his poem Here Lies Madness by the legendary Vincent Price in 1986.He has since published several of his poems, stories and articles in newspapers, magazines, anthologies and books. Having degrees in Psychology, Sociology and Anthropology, Mr. Butler uses his powers of observation and analysis to write disturbing accounts about peculiar people, places, politics and philosophy he has encountered during his lifetime. As such, he has concluded that there are no "absolute truths", which is, of course, the absolute truth.

The unique poems in this book are based on anecdotes from former mental patients of his, when he was a psychiatric social worker. G. Larry Butler is also an award winning actor and professional pianist.
