Some battles are self-imposed while others occur as a matter of being human. It is easier to start wars than to end them. It is easier to begin a war than to initiate a ceasefire. Human battles take different forms. There is no human being without any form of battle or the other. Some samples of battles could be monetary, relationships, health issues, daily needs, feelings of belongings, acceptance or rejection, love or hate, employment or lack of employment, meeting daily needs or inability to meet daily needs, richness or poverty, arrogance, or humility, caring or lack of caring, merciful or merciless, hopefulness or hopelessness, and various other battles. It appears that the battles humans face is multi-faceted. With various types of battles, how could humans win? When humans try to solve those battles by themselves, in their own power they get frustrated, in many cases, and give up. Some humans would engage in activities which instead of resolving their battles drag them down deep into sores battles. "The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears and rescues them from all their troubles. The LORD is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. "(Psalm 34: 17 - 18).

When humans call on the Lord, they are to be sure that He would hear their calling and do for them according to His will.
