Once in a Blue Moon is a fictional story about life in a nursing home through the eyes of the care givers and the residents. Where will YOU live as your health declines?
{Did you spot Jesus and the pill on the moon?}
Thomas Anderson has forty years of patient contact and stories that most would not believe. The human spirit can move mountains. Currently in the U.S. there are about 49 million people aged 65 and up. In contrast, there are about 15,600 nursing homes with 1.7 million licensed beds.... You do the math!
About the Author
Thomas Anderson has many years of patient encounters and stories as a respiratory therapist, from neonatal care to geriatric care. Everyone has a story. For twenty years he really enjoyed educating youth about health, with the focus on his job and breathing. He spent about eight years in the local Drum and Bugle Corps, the Tri-City Columbians, in WA State, playing the triple drum.
Tom has been blessed to be married for forty years with two children, five grandchildren, two dogs, and a cat. He enjoys fishing, pruning roses, and spending time with his wife.
