The Last Pink Reveal

The Last Pink Reveal imagines events that take place following the last human female birth. What follows is a slow decline and breakdown of society around the world as females begin to die out, followed by the remaining male population some thirty years later. With the imminent extinction of the entire human race expected to take place in a one-hundred-year time span, infrastructures in the developed world slowly begin to break down as population numbers rapidly decrease around the globe. During this time, efforts are made by the global scientific community to try and find a reason for this catastrophic failure in human reproduction, and the race is joined to reverse the unprecedented event.

The story focuses on several characters as the clock begins to count down to the end of human existence on Earth. Society begins to implode, and with it, people's lives as they always knew them. How would people adjust to the gradual loss of female births and the ever-widening numerical gap between males and females? Each new day would bring unique challenges to the ever-dwindling world population. But if a solution to the existential threat cannot be found, then where and how will the human race finally die out? Where on planet Earth will humans make their last stand? Will they depart quietly, or will it be a tumultuous end for Homo sapiens?
