NOMADS-Escaping Chaos is a book that follows the life of Shirley and Sam Simmons a retired Snowbird couple that make extra money buying items in Arizona and around the country to sell to people on homesteads in Idaho and surrounding states. They get embroiled in local issues in a small town in Idaho. They are joined with other retired couples and young working couples when they go back to Arizona to settle their affairs there who are fleeing to escape conflicts imposed on them by a fluid southern border to the small town in the state of Idaho only to be confronted by a much larger and more deadly international foe.
