The story revolves around a young boy named Sidharth, who just got admission in his dream college when he thought he was completely useless. His family accompanied him to his new life towards his post graduation. There he met his two roommates, who turned out to be weird and unbearable but ended up being best of friends. He was busy coping with his new life when his eyes fell on 'her'.

No love story becomes a worthy read without some twists and turns with the main leads of the novel. The problem took place when Sidharth found out from another fellow batchmate and younger sister of Shambhavi that our heroine doesn't believe in being happy ever after.
When Sidharth dug a little deeper, he found out about Shambhavi's first marriage and how awful her ex husband was. Due to him, She lost her belief in love. Shambhavi confronted Sidharth and asked him what he wanted from her, He with a smile said just 'A cup of coffee'.
