All Riled Up, although fiction, is the parallel story of mid-thirties Rave, his fiancee Annie, Brode (Rave's best friend), Kade (Rave's son), Milly (Annie's mother and Rave's very own 'Mrs. Robinson'-esque obsession). Between Rave's near-death experience, Brode's relentless friendship (despite his severe alcoholism) and Kade's early years' survival, one can only wonder if Annie's dragon-chasing habit will kill her - or everyone - involved.
