KeriAnne N. Jelinek is a national performing opera singer, pianist, choral director and music educator of over twenty-five years. She has worked in digital media, website design and social media for many years. She has had a dream to write and illustrate The Adventures of Mr. Peanuts about the families’ beloved cat, Mr. Peanuts. She and her six-year old daughter, Coral, conceived the idea after having rescued Mr. Peanuts from a life on the streets. She lives in Pennsylvania with her husband, the co-author, her daughter and of course, their beloved gray cat, Mr. Peanuts.
Coral Jelinek creates and tells stories for children and adults alike. She loves animals, the outdoors, drawing and is a highly imaginative storyteller. She lives in Pennsylvania with her mom and dad, and her best friend, Mr. Peanuts. Her love of stories, books and her colorful imagination have lead her to create all the themes for all of The Adventures of Mr. Peanuts series. Mr. Peanuts, the beloved Russian Blue cat and the main character in The Adventures of Mr. Peanuts, was rescued from the streets on a Thanksgiving full moon. His family always wonders what kind of adventures he might have had while he was on the streets. He is a very special cat. He doesn’t mind bath time, likes the water and loves to be held. He goes crazy for catnip and loves his family dearly. He is a very expressive therapy animal and adores being loved on. He is truly a special animal, with a wonderful personality.
