This title is printed to order. This book may have been self-published. If so, we cannot guarantee the quality of the content. In the main most books will have gone through the editing process however some may not. We therefore suggest that you be aware of this before ordering this book. If in doubt check either the author or publisher’s details as we are unable to accept any returns unless they are faulty. Please contact us if you have any questions.

The songs in this book have been adapted and can be played on all models of popular wooden xylophone, metal glockenspiel (metallophone), or resonator blocks. Even a simple kids' xylophone will be adequate to play most of these songs. Some songs here have been simplified for beginners. This book is aimed at those new to music and musical instruments and I put letter notation above the notes to make it possible for you to confidently begin playing. Since African music assumes improvisation and variation, I recommend using this sheet music only as a guide. The most important thing is to listen and repeat the recordings linked to the QR code, so you can listen to the rhythm before beginning to play. Contents: Amawole - Congo Askari Eee - Tanzania Atadwe - Ghana Banaha - Congo Banuwa - Liberia Bebe Moke - Congo Before Dinner - Congo Bilanga Na Ngai - Congo Che Che Koolay - Ghana Coco Laye-Laye - Congo Do Do Ki Do - Cameroon Eh Soom Boo Kawaya - Nigeria Erile Baboye - South Africa Famba Naye - Zimbabwe Funga Alafia - Ghana Iro Ye - Benin Kanzenzenze - Congo Kokoleoko - Liberia Kotiko - Congo Kuya Mbio - Tanzania L'abe igi Orombo - Nigeria Makun - Mali Manamolela - South Africa Mayo Nafwa - Zambia Mbele Mama - South Africa Ning Wendete - Kenya Noyana - South Africa Obwisana - Ghana Olele Moliba Makasi - Congo Plouf Tizen Tizen - Algeria Sansa Kroma - Ghana Selinguenia - Kenya Shosholoza - South Africa Si Ma Ma Ka - Ghana Si Si Kumbale - South Africa Sindi - Burkina Faso Siyahamba - South Africa Siyanibingelela - South Africa Stick Passing Song - Uganda Tue Tue - Ghana Umele - South Africa Wa Wa Wa - Congo Welcome Song - Uganda Zimbole - South Africa Zomina - Togo
