Dys-What

A children's book about Dysautonomia. This book is written from a humorous perspective of a young child (and his mom) and what he is going through daily. In order to describe an invisible illness to others, it's easier to put it in words in a book then verbalize it. This is a way to give him a way to describe what he goes through without having to repeat it over and over. There are many people (children and teenagers) that do not have a way to express what they are going through. Their words have a hard time coming out when they are in an episode and it gives teachers, parents and friends a different way to look at their experiences, through words in a book.
