Cedric the bear arrives in Amsterdam to visit his dear friend, Thomas, a former guide dog. Thomas has just had eye surgery and Cedric, who is very kind, is keen to offer his support. He has been looking forward to a nice holiday in Amsterdam, staying with Thomas on his charming houseboat. Thomas takes Cedric to visit the Rijksmuseum, one of the finest galleries in the world.
