Book II of Love My MB finds Jonathan pulling out all the stops to win back Mary Beth after she bolts upon finding out Jonathan is indeed JJ Collins and she's the "other woman" to a beautiful Oscar-winning actress, Tiffany Taylor. JJ and Tiffany are the hottest entertainment / media couple on the planet, but to Jonathan, at least, it was strictly a PR relationship to boost both their careers, set up by their management teams.
As Jonanthan and his band prepare for their next album and concert tour, he arranges a practice concert at an Army base near Mary Beth's Georgia home and hopes that Mary Beth's co-workers can convince her to attend the concert for a night out with the girls.
Just before the concert, a tornado hits the area and Jonathan risks his life to save Mary Beth's young daughter, trapped in her sitter's collapsed trailer.
