Dr. Harris has been in the ministry now for 17 years and is in his 16th year of pastorship and is the founder and pastor of New Life Christian Center Texas. Dr Harris is a graduate of Memphis Overton High School class of 1986 and served in the in United States Army for 11 years. He is also a graduate of Liberty University where he earned a Bachelor of Science of Religion. Dr. Harris also attended the Helms School of Government and earned a Minor of Criminal Justice in the study of Juvenile Justice. Dr. Harris attended seminary at The Liberty University Baptist Theological Seminary where earned a Master of Arts of Pastoral Ministry. Dr. Harris attended the John W. Rawlings School of Divinity and conferred his Doctor of Ministry of Theology and Apologetics.
Dr. Harris is also a special education teacher and works as a middle school behavior teacher, a high school basketball coach, Christian Life Coach and a member of Within Our ranks Cohort. Dr. Harris has a published writing in the Liberty University Scholars Crossing titled: Addressing the Lack of Christian Education in the Local Church Through Podcasting, Workshops, Flowcharts, And Advertisement for Ministry Launch. Dr. Harris also has a project titled "Moving from Regrets to Resets", an educational and motivational presentation designed to help educators reach a complete reset in the classroom.
