THE BEST VIEW MONEY CAN BUY
This is a collection of short fiction stories which are a mixture of philosophical and science fiction. The stories range across several topics, including the future, humanity, science, technology, artificial intelligence, and religion. The main story, which is the longest, is titled "The Best View Money Can Buy." This main story deals with difficult questions related to philosophy, religion, and faith. It is the story of mankind's struggle to discern between the blur of utopia and dystopia, as we confront the most dire of questions: what is real?
I wrote these stories prior to becoming an Eastern Orthodox Christian. Given that they are fiction, they do not reflect the totality of my beliefs today, but the truth is hidden somewhere in between the pages. I want to warn you that because I wrote these stories prior to my conversion to Eastern Orthodox Christianity, they contain themes and language for adults, including profanity. These stories are not suitable for children or those who do not want to read such material. I do believe there is a spiritual warning within some of these stories, so I am making them available to those interested in considering these deep questions with which the stories deal with. However, given my own religious beliefs today, I don't want readers to be surprised by some of the subject matter of the book, so please read at your own discretion.
