The focus behind, "Don't Hurt Gerald" is he really doesn't want to be hurt at all, he wants to hang-out with his favorite friends (different or not), and he wants to be himself ... everyday!!

He's okay with how he feels about his two friends, and he's not asking much, but he's confused about how to change a very dire, ongoing, bullying situation.

He thinks to himself, "Who can I talk to?" And his answer is: "The wisest creature in the jungle." Right?

Because he has some type of plan, now, he has to implement it and, "See what happens" (that leads to doubt, fear, amazement, and a whole host of other emotions).

J. Jeffrey Brennan will always be a Philadelphian ... who's traveled throughout the US, Mexico & Canada (and seen 17, European countries). His family are travelers, and his dad always told him, "Look out there, Jimmy? You never know what you'll miss!!

Other than 10yrs as an U.S. Air Force Staff Seargeant (starting/ending, in California - with stints in Germany, Greenland, and Michigan, plus 3yrs getting a bachelor's degree), he's spent the last 30+yrs in Southwest Lower Michigan.
