The stories of those who came before us can shape who we are.

In My Family of Elders, Dr. Dana D. Williams looks to her elders and their inspiring life stories. Each vignette is filled with wisdom, humor, and enduring lessons passed down through generations. These short, lighthearted narratives capture the spirit of family, community, and the power of shared experiences.

This book is a special celebration of the past, but it's also a thoughtful guide for recording and preserving family histories for generations to come. Complete with reflection questions and activities, My Family of Elders encourages readers to honor the contributions of those who came before them and embrace the responsibility of passing on that legacy.

Whether read individually or used as a family workbook, this interactive memoir will spark meaningful conversations, intergenerational connection, and personal growth. It's an important reminder that the wisdom of our elders is a treasure worth cherishing.

Dr. Dana D. Williams is a proud Christian and member of Leake Bible Church in Aurora, Colorado. A champion and advocate for education, elder-care, and workforce development, she faithfully believes in sharing knowledge to lead growth. With over twenty years working for the city and county of Denver, she has served on numerous youth-serving boards and as a guest lecturer, frequently presenting at conferences and participating in various panels. Dr. Williams received her undergraduate degree from Colorado Christian University, graduate degree from Regis University, and her Doctor of Education from Argosy University.
