Countless adults believe they cannot overcome their challenges and problems in life. If you feel you are underperforming in your jobs or just coasting on average standards enough to keep from getting fired, this book is not just for you, and it's for now. If you know someone who, out of frustration or desperation, has turned to alcohol or, worse, hard drugs to soothe the pain, this book can help you help them right now in the midst of these struggles. With "Do I Have to Wake Up?", I don't just aim to ignite a spark within you but to set your entire life ablaze with purpose and direction. This book has the power to motivate you to ask better questions and provide you with the tools for more critical thinking, leading to better decisions and actions and, ultimately, a more fulfilling life.
Nicola (Nick) Longo, an immigrant from Italy in 1969 with a wife and a child, and $200 in their pockets catapulted himself to a Sales Coach, a Manager, an Entrepreneur, a Leader, and a book Writer. But not without struggles. There were many challenges, including language and accent, a whole new way of life and customs. In Huntsville, Alabama, he had to change an existing paradigm of what an Italian was: Wapp, a term he didn't even know. Pursuing his dream to keep a positive attitude took determination, humility, courage, and motivation. He enrolled at the University of Alabama in Huntsville for night classes and worked three jobs. He knew he had to pay a price to gain acceptance in the new society; he read motivational books and, with his visionary mind, started looking for opportunities to improve himself. Now, he is giving his readers a roadmap of his life.
