This series of short stories are intended for children ages 8 to 15. It is about a group of children who started the Persimmon Detective Agency to solve mysteries while on summer break from school. I wanted children to have something to read that has Judeo-Christian values and not what secular schools are forcing on our children today including asking children to explore their sexuality, question their gender, and rebel against parental controls.

Gary W. Burris was born in Oklahoma. He has traveled extensively, living in 6 different states, 2 foreign countries and visited more than 12 different countries on 5 continents. He retired twice. Once from Phillips Petroleum Company and once from Bechtel Corporation. He has started 2 businesses. The Brazosport Computer Company and the Lonestar Tactical Supply Company. After retirement, Gary spends his time writing, painting, and producing a weekly YouTube bible study. He likes to say that his time at those activities keeps him out of the pool halls and beer joints.
