The author's heart throughout this book is to speak into the lives of those who seldom hear a voice of love and encouragement. For 366 days, Kristen shares her life experiences, finding the good in what she has encountered. This book is her life journey. These daily writings are filled with pain, joy, sorrow, and vulnerability, which many can relate to. Kristen shares verses and ways the Lord used a situation to help her understand what she was going through. Her prayer is that the reader facing similar challenges will not feel ashamed or alone. By sharing her story, Kristen is living proof that we serve a God of love and that there is hope in His promises.
Kristen Lee Bessette is an East Coast girl living in a West Coast world. Originally from Massachusetts, she lives with her husband, Steve, and their children in Southern California. This book is her first published work. When she is not writing, she is usually in the kitchen, cooking delicious food for her loved ones. Kristen loves to be outdoors, play tennis, and swim. She felt she was to write a 366-day devotional for a long time. After Kristen was in a car crash, her car was totaled, and it gave her time to sit and reflect. She woke up one night and sat at the computer to write, and the rest is history. Kristen and Steve are the founders of New Mercies Media, a non-profit organization dedicated to making a positive impact through broadcasting.www.newmerciesmedia.org
