On her wedding day, Gwendolyn received a call from a longtime friend who said, "The Lord said write!" So, she began to write about her marriage. Little did she know that the plan would lead her to having a story about struggle, pain, heartbreak, and betrayal...
Deborah, an educated Christian woman who was strong in her faith, found Jacob, the man God had chosen for her, and married him at the age of forty-three. She accepted him for exactly who he was and believed, since he was chosen by God, that their marriage would not have any hard times and be filled with love, care, and respect. A year later, she discovered distressing news: Jacob was in communication with a woman he was seeing without Deborah's knowledge.
S.H.E. Standing Happily Everafter is a unique testimony based on the real-life experience of author Gwendolyn Todd. Her story is one of trials and a test that would push her to the edge of everything she believed and how she emerged triumphant. Sharing actual diary entries, conversations with friends, words of encouragement, and observations she had as she rode out her storm, her story is one of standing strong on what God promised her, even when others told her to leave.
Gwendolyn Denise Todd is a native of Brooklyn, New York. She was called to the ministry in 1989, and studied evangelism at Emmanuel Pentecostal Faith C.O.G. Bible Institute in 1998. She received her minister's license in 2003 under the supervision of Pastor Moses and Evangelist Josephine Carpenter of Love Church of Christ Written In Heaven in Brooklyn. Evangelist Todd has had the opportunity to be a part of many miracles and wonderful ministries since she began her faith walk, and remains a faithful servant and willing vessel to be used by God.
