The psychopathology of gaslighting, gameplaying, colonisation, deceit, lying, manipulation and abuse has not received sufficient attention within popular culture along with the academic 'disciplines'. This expose provides an entree into these shrouded realms, focussing on the psychopathologies of power, drawn upon in the enactment of pure negativity. Here, the exploration around how and why it arises, prior to being enacted is gently teased out, drawing upon the psychotherapeutic insight of the author(s). Ten films, historically castigated as porn, eurotrash, horror or sleaze are dredged from their cultural confinement: prior to being subject to an analytical inspection. The aim is to unravel the numerous overt and covert messages residing within their succulent narratives, thereby puncturing the 'normal attitude'. By drawing upon the method outlined in Surrealist Manifesto Number 4, the psycho-analytical inspection brings to the surface a hidden human dimension, allowing the reader to revel within the multiplicities that unfurl.
