We have all thought to ourselves, 'In another life - I was someone else, doing this, that or the other. Having different experiences. Learning things, I no longer know. Meeting people I do not remember. Loving. Hating. Laughing. Crying.' Truth is, you most likely were, but who were you? A saint? A tyrant? Something hidden within our subconscious, in the back alleys of the deepest parts of the heart, somehow, we still feel connected to these lives we have lived. Somewhere between a dream and a memory, like a name on the tip of your tongue or a photograph from a long-lost scrap book that is too out of focus; they still exist. While it is rare, these past lives can sometimes carry over, bleeding into the present. Isn't that interesting? Or do not you believe it is possible? Is it so difficult to accept that this is not your first life? Do you choose not to believe in past lives because it is simply easier or more comforting than the alternative? Ask yourself: Do we experience these lives simultaneously or across different dimensions? The complexity of the concept of living more than one life can be distilled down to the resolute conviction that each one of us has a soul - a spiritual, extraneous, and immaterial fragment of a person which is grounded by their emotions and truly immortal. If you can accept this conviction, you can begin to understand that our souls can experience an infante number of lifetimes - each of these, filled with loss, confusion, rage, and joy. With each life, we then continue to grow, stacking pieces upon pieces from one life to the next. This means that who you are now, is simply an amalgam of all your past lives, experiences, victories, and failures; and while we may not be aware of any of these presently, each one has a say (in small part) into who we are. They form the complex patchwork that is the tapestry of your soul. You are here, now. Living this life. Who have you been and who will you be, tomorrow?
