Daniel, a teenage boy, finds a fob watch in his grandfather's cellar that transports him back one hundred years in time. Upon returning to the present with items from the past, he discovers mysterious writing that leads him to develop a friendship with a girl named Elizabeth, whom he discovers will disappear in her near future. Daniel is determined to save Elizabeth from vanishing, but when a friend breaks his time-changing fob watch during a quarrel, it creates an insurmountable obstacle to his rescue attempts. Daniel, enlisting his close friend Benjamin's help, tries to fix the broken fob watch. Do Daniel and Benjamin succeed or is Elizabeth lost forever?
