Luina: A Young Girl’s Fight In A Violent Tasmanian Small Town

These words reverberate through the head of 16 yr old Beth Duncan after the death of her parent and forced to live with her strange older uncle in the small backwoods town of Luina in the barren North West corner of Tasmania, Australia. Befriending Karen the local dance teacher of young children she tries to find her feet. However the small town mentality of the local louts plus her coming of age induced by her first boyfriend makes life treacherous and adventurous. As the walls close in she and her friend Karen become involved in a fight for their lives.
